I've been hearing a lot of people putting forth the idea that false accusers should be subject to the same punishment their victims would have suffered had the false prosecution been successful. One even said the punishment should be more severe by half, to make the point clear. It's disgusting that vicious abusive people know that even if their accusations don't lead to a criminal conviction, there is still significant damage to the accused person's life.

I bet the psychiatry/psychology industrial complex would create a mental illness that explains how damaged women feel they have no choice but to enact such awful predatory behaviors against men. There's historic examples. When department stores began to be a thing, it was soon discovered that rich women and girls did a lot of stealing, and they were soon found to suffer the mental illness "kleptomania" and women who kill their infants are often found to suffer postpartum depression or psychosis.

When we create penalties for false accusations (and I would include in the category of false accusations fake hate crimes, which are accusations against a segment of society), we also need to toss all the shrinks out of the court room.

Agreed. The shrinks and advocates for false accusers should be charged and punished as co-conspirators in the criminal activity of the false accuser as surely as a mafia lawyer would.
