Labelling someone violent is not evidence of violence. Domestic violence occurs behind closed doors, neighbours and police are not witnesses. I don't see how John could be accused of violence in the absence of serious injury to Lorena. Any superficial injuries could be the result of efforts to restrain her, using reasonable force, in self defence.
