The collapse of feminism could happen faster than most imagine. It's a castle built on sand. The idea that gender is "socially constructed", therefore failure for women to achieve equality of outcome is evidence of oppression is outright nonsense when evidence (twin studies, studies of other cultures, studies of primates, brain imaging, etc) is examined.
You can ignore objective reality indefinitely until reality asserts itself and harms you, but it doesn't work after that.
There are still pockets of shitlibbery around the country and the West who can still ignore demonstrably, easily verified facts... But most of these people suck on the taxpayer's tit, a lot of the funding for this nonsense is going to be pulled soon, and after the Covid over-reach, I think people generally have had it with luxury beliefs - feminism being just one of them.
They've dug a very deep hole that is going to be hard if not impossible to climb out of, particularly considering their level of entitlement and incompetence.
better still..Karl Marx in Friedrich Engels panties because Engels couldn't afford to keep him anymore..
тАЬKarl Marx was not a man from the proletariat. He was the son of a lawyer. He did not have to work to go to the university. He studied at the university in the same way as do the sons of well-to-do people today. Later, and for the rest of his life, he was supported by his friend Friedrich Engels, whoтАФbeing a manufacturerтАФwas the worst type of "bourgeois," according to socialist ideas. In the language of Marxism, he was an exploiter.тАЭ тАУ Ludwig von Mises
Feminism is a silencer. It edits peopleтАЩs thoughts in their heads by now. People who believe in it donтАЩt think it exists. ItтАЩs an extremely powerful force and I donтАЩt think itтАЩs going anywhere.
Recently I was reading someone write about how the Bible is wrong because it doesnтАЩt conform to modern ideas of feminism.
ThatтАЩs a pretty common perception among intelligent mature people.
Because feminism carries more clout in their moral compass than the Bible does.
This has been going on for decades.
Millions of people.
In many ways, women stigmatize behaviors and women give their imprimatur ob behaviors- always. Feminism describes women as powerless in a traditional system, they must, or feminism is unnecessary. So feminism discounts that in a traditional society women silence and shame. (That can, and typically is, used for the good-a civilizing force.) Feminism wields that power. And massive multi decade propaganda. So, no, feminism isnтАЩt going anywhere. More likely feminism tells its opponents to be quiet and/or leave.
Leave where? Are there groups of competent feminists running around engaging in productive activity that I am unaware of, or are they all in academia, federal agencies, and HR departments? Because from where I sit, it looks like a lot of the places they inhabit are going to get wiped out.
The electorate is bifurcated along class lines at this point. Politics is recreational to the "eff the patriarchy! She-Ra is a documentary" crowd. It's not for people who either don't have jobs, or can't make ends meet. Do you really think this kind of self-censorship will work on them? I don't.
Will there always be narcissistic, delusional women running around? Yes. Will they forever enjoy this "rights for me, responsibilities for thee" environment they managed to create? I doubt it.
I am a woman with an extremely traditional lifestyle.
I was born into a traditional family. I never left the lifestyle.
I am a thinking individual.
I have feminism on loop in my head.
I am almost 47 and I canтАЩt get it out of my head.
Feminism tells me that motherhood is not enjoyable, that if I donтАЩt see my husband taking advantage of me, IтАЩm blind (He isnтАЩt)
That I canтАЩt say I love being a mother because I will hurt other womenтАЩs feelings and that I really couldnтАЩt love being a mother because itтАЩs inherently oppressive.
Feminism says that if modesty speaks to me thatтАЩs because I hypersexualized the world.
Feminism says that if you think the idea of any version of a sex strike is physically nauseating as well as the ultimate TMI, youтАЩre the crazy one.
Feminism defines a woman as a human who requires the right to abortion.
Raising children is the opposite of тАЬliving your life.тАЭ
Raising children is also the opposite of expensive travel. As if everyone without a baby is constantly jet-setting to Paris.
Feminism says that the only reason people separate men and women is to demean women. There is no other legitimate purpose.
I grew up in a pretty far left environment but with a pretty normal family. I learned to absolutely despise far leftists, including feminists. As I watch Gen Z move into adulthood, all of them had similar experiences to mine. Their thinking will not go away, either. They're pissed.
Far leftism, including blank slate ideology, multiculturalism, feminism, and recreational political egalitarianism all rely on and exploit decency, but only from those who exhibit said decency. There's a reason the girlboss brigade isn't sassy-clapping to islamists or violent thugs to "do better". They know they are not decent people who will, in fact, pimp slap them while demanding a sandwich.
That kind of response is exactly what they are likely to get from young men going forward. The soft power that comes from hectoring otherwise decent men is evaporating. They won't have to grapple with it as you have because there was never any value in it for them, perceived or otherwise.
Pretty ill thought out comment. Women do stigmatized behaviors more than men, but men also stigmatized behaviors. Mens spaces aren't free for all were you can just abuse people, and it seems you're leading with the same female power fantasy of "civilizing" men, which is just stupid and wrong.
Women have been using silencing and shaming to further feminism. You say that it's usually a good thing, but there is no evidence for that. Silencing and shaming is what keeps feminism afloat.
You seem to not understand that feminism and women are the same, not distinct cultural forces.
You keep trying to say "feminism makes women think they are powerless when they are so powerful!". But you don't seem to understand that women need less power. Significantly less power.
Not a good take imo. The idea that female schoolmarmishness is actually a good thing when it is the cause of feminism is just stupid.
Rereading, my reply, I have some qualms with my response.
"(That can, and typically is, used for the good-a civilizing force.)"
I read too far into this and thought you were playing on the "brute male" trope. I now realize this is a hasty assumption, and that there can be multiple civilizing forces, some masculine some feminine. My apologies.
However, I still stand on some of what I said earlier. Feminine schoolmarmish is not all good, and definitely keeps feminism afloat culturally speaking.
I also still think women and feminism are the same. Every woman (and man for that matter) is a feminist, because it's baked into the culture at large. Donald Trump is a feminist. Listen to him speak and simp for women and you'll see that, although he maybe isn't as overt and disgusting about it, he is a feminist. Women keep feminism afloat. Even yourself admits that feminism plays in your head constantly because of the social conditioning. Frankly, post modern social engineering has made it so the only womanhood that exists currently is a feminist womanhood, unfortunately. I don't even mean being a working woman, I mean just women's conflict-based perception of themselves and men. Women do not have a womanhood that is anything other than eternally in conflict with men over nothing. Watch the media and try to find an example of womahood that isn't bitchy and insufferable. The days of non-feminist womahood are long gone, sadly. Cinderella, Wendy, Alice in Wonderland and every other female character you can think of are all modernized and "bitchified". You can claim women are victims of this social conditioning, but they are the ones who push the social conditioning. You should watch Jonathan Haidt discuss female social contagions.
Feminism kind of seeks masculine power, but it is incredibly stereotypically feminine. Feminism reigns supreme because of media/cultural dominance. Their reputation slander of men far and wide is the cause for much of our cultural inability to support men, and attack women when necessary. Without the cultural component, I think it would fall flat completely due to the irrationality of it quickly becoming clear. Any masculine power it has is reliant on its feminine slander.
Something interesting is how concerned women are with power. Ironic, that men actually think of power dynamics less in relationships than women, who seem to frame everything through a lens of power. Feminist conditioning, but also probably some of their innate neurotic nature that makes them angry and distrustful for no reason. Men don't ever think about power in relationships in this way, and it seems women don't ever stop thinking about power in relationships in this way.

Feminism is a female supremacist movement, and it will never cease to exist. It will only wax or wane, and its waning is welcome.
Femimism is a subcatagory of marxism.
It's basically cultural Marxism wearing a wig.
Or, as Karen Straughan put it, feminism is socialism in panties.
She was brilliant. I miss her.

Are you Gen Z?
Our kids are Gen Z
I am Gen X
ThatтАЩs actually the most comforting thing IтАЩve heard in a long time.
Same - Gen X with Gen Z kids. I'm seeing it with them and others.

So youтАЩre saying that an all male culture would have throw pillows and multiple forks and spoons? Is that your take?
Women and feminism are not the same.
ThatтАЩs just without merit.
Feminism seeks masculine style power. It doesnтАЩt content itself with shaming and blaming.
Feminine power is not only stigmatizing behavior. ThereтАЩs more to it than that.
ThereтАЩs a good aspect of тАЬmy mother raised me better than that.тАЭ

Where do you stand on abortion?
It should be illegal. It's baby killing and only exists so that women cam get away with bad choices that harm themselves, men, and children.
I really donтАЩt like feminism, but calling all women names is not something I agree with.
