Isn't this exactly why some of us are able to change now after years of thinking we were on the right path?? We might read something that makes a bit of 'different' sense and then it snowballs, freeballs, stops and then something else grabs us or we go back or we crawl along the ground while our friends think that we haven't changed at all but inwardly we have!!!!
One tiny weeny difference that I had was when I was reading about Capitalism Free Trade and somewhere the author said something like like: socialism and communism are 'the same or a like'.. I poo pooed it and then the author said something like: think about it. It was 'Union of Soviet Socialist Republics' NOT 'Union of Soviet Communist Republics'. It was like a tiny light went on... I cannot forget it...
I did Russian History at school. Loved it. Communism was the best.. imagine to my surprise when 50+ years later I really, really, really, realise how many millions were killed in the name of Communism.. I had only heard a few hundred thousand...
