Yes, but that's unlikely to happen in the near future. Given the rise of postmodernism (which denies the possibility of finding objective truth, or even the desirability of seeking it), that would describe ANY field of study--including, by now, even the physical sciences. Feminism and its allied ideologies (known collectively as wokism) have followed that pattern by glorifying "our truth" and ridiculing or ignoring "their truth. " Policies require "diversity, equity and inclusion" to take precedence over scholarly competence when it comes to recruiting students and hiring researchers. Some universities are challenging this state of affairs, but not yet enough of them, and we've already lost a generation of potential scholars, and the chaotic results are becoming obvious. The Chinese, however, know opportunity when they see it.
