Feminism as a Victim Mentality Disorder The feminist way of perceiving the world is both an expression of and an encouragement to disordered and irrational thinking. In particular, feminism manifests many elements of a victim mentality disorder. In general terms, a victim mentality is a learned personality trait in which one believes oneself to have been harmed in a manner that is both undeserved and for which one bears no responsibility. The feminist victim mentality tends to ascribe negative intentions to men and to believe that men in general (or patriarchal society) are responsible for all the negative experiences of women.
While I totally agree with the thrust of this article, I think the framing around mental disorder is less helpful than "narcissistic bubble" which of course IS a form of neuroticism but leads to a less pessimistic conclusion as bubbles can go pop rather suddenly. I suspect many if not most power centers advancing this delusion know what they are doing but don't actually subscribe to it beyond the personal advantage it affords them.
