While I totally agree with the thrust of this article, I think the framing around mental disorder is less helpful than "narcissistic bubble" which of course IS a form of neuroticism but leads to a less pessimistic conclusion as bubbles can go pop rather suddenly. I suspect many if not most power centers advancing this delusion know what they are doing but don't actually subscribe to it beyond the personal advantage it affords them.
Thanks for your comment! I guess I'm fairly pessimistic and find that many ordinary women--not even necessarily committed feminists--are quite deeply wedded to the ideas and self-serving delusions that feminism promotes and affirms.

I think they are simply self serving. It benefits them, and they do not care if men get hurt, as long as they get to benefit.
