The collapse of feminism could happen faster than most imagine. It's a castle built on sand. The idea that gender is "socially constructed", therefore failure for women to achieve equality of outcome is evidence of oppression is outright nonsense when evidence (twin studies, studies of other cultures, studies of primates, brain imaging, etc) is examined.
You can ignore objective reality indefinitely until reality asserts itself and harms you, but it doesn't work after that.

Feminism kind of seeks masculine power, but it is incredibly stereotypically feminine. Feminism reigns supreme because of media/cultural dominance. Their reputation slander of men far and wide is the cause for much of our cultural inability to support men, and attack women when necessary. Without the cultural component, I think it would fall flat completely due to the irrationality of it quickly becoming clear. Any masculine power it has is reliant on its feminine slander.
Something interesting is how concerned women are with power. Ironic, that men actually think of power dynamics less in relationships than women, who seem to frame everything through a lens of power. Anything with government attached (including the political right) is leftist/ feminist by nature. Most conservatives today hold views that would have been considered leftist a couple of decades ago. Firstly, leftist have lower birth rates than the right, they're breeding themselves out of existence. How can you expect leftist to turn this all around when they're gone? Secondly, leftist are leftist for a reason. You failed to acknowledge the genetic basis of their political inclination. But some of the 'X factors' that might also be significant include the internet and social media which are rapidly usurping the legacy media, and exposing leftists to information which challenges their world view (a world view given to them by the dying legacy media).

Leftists even told us that we needed to attend their special training and buy all their books so we could learn to 'see' patriarchal oppression and systemic racism - things they admitted were vague and tenuous. Rich men, as a rule, have little interest in men's issues - being largely insulated from so many of them - and of course Erin Pizzey reported that the well-off men who bankrolled the women's and children's shelters in London in the 1970s refused to give a penny towards the establishment of men's shelters. So we shouldn't expect rich men to suddenly start caring about less well-off disadvantaged men.
Yes the catch 22 is that there is nothing more traditionally masculine than protecting the weak, women and children. The only achievement so far is the fact it is being discussed by some that maybe men were a factor in the election result. The feminist ideology will temporarily retreat and will return with a different tactic to protect it’s entrenched power dynamic. I do however find small ray of hope in young men and boys who seem to be increasingly awake to the dangers of the feminist ideology. I encourage them every chance I get. I have been watching the feminist meltdowns from TikTok, which are hilarious but also sad because these are real lives being consumed by hateful feminist ideology. It's funny when they vow to not have sex with men, and all the comments from men question who would ever want to have sex with them, they're glad that women will no longer act like sluts, and it will reduce abortions.
Of course it's all performative on the part of the women, as you note: no one is losing any "rights" (they mean the right to abortion) and they either were not having sex due to being unattractive and crazy and misandric, or don't intend to stop, despite their vows (men beware!) These women are just acting up for the camera. It's ridiculous and hilarious.
Some are so over the top that it's clear they are suffering from severe mental illness that's now channeled into feminist activism online. I have known many Leftist activists and if you did a Venn diagram you'd see a sizeable crossover of these people with conditions such as bipolar and schizophrenia, many of whom have been committed in the past.
It is to a great extent the ideology of hate they subscribe to that warps their minds and souls -- it even affects their bodies: you can see before and after photos in which attractive young women, well-dressed and with promising futures, transform into sad creatures with shaved heads or purple hair, too many piercings and tattoos, often overweight, poorly dressed, and very obviously mentally disturbed.
As for the election response videos, perhaps they are ignorant of what Trump did before in office or the limits of his office; the videos all reflect an irrational fear that Trump is a dictator on par with Hitler or Stalin. They imagine some sort of dystopian scenario like the Handmaids Tale perhaps. It's truly laughable. The legacy media has done its part to stoke this mass hysteria, quite irresponsibly.
As a student of human nature, what I find interesting about all this is how Trump is a symbol for so many people on both sides of the political spectrum: for conservatives he promises a renewal of patriotism and freedom and prosperity, the American Dream, the promise of the American liberties, everything the flag stands for. He will (we hope) build the wall, deport illegals, boost the economy, create jobs, get rid of government waste, get rid of woke ideology, etc. In reality, it will be an uphill battle for him, and the Left will fight him tooth and nail and demonize him, as they did last time. I hope he can succeed but also know he is up against massive obstacles. The Left has huge institutional support and will do all it can to fight him; indeed they have gone so far as to try to assassinate him -- and no doubt will try again.
At the same time, for the Left -- and feminists -- Trump is a symbol of all that is evil and wrong. They project all this onto him, demonizing and scapegoating him. Leftism is a religion and scapegoating (e.g., calling perceived enemies "racist" or "misogynist") is its core ritual. They project onto him what they want to see, that affirms their worldview and their man-hating narrative, even if Trump is not actually a racist or misogynist, and even if he is not anti-abortion or truly pro-life. The truth doesn't matter; what matter is the perception, the use of him as a symbol for all they hate.

Recently I was reading someone write about how the Bible is wrong because it doesn’t conform to modern ideas of feminism.
That’s a pretty common perception among intelligent mature people.
Because feminism carries more clout in their moral compass than the Bible does.

In many ways, women stigmatize behaviors and women give their imprimatur ob behaviors- always. Feminism describes women as powerless in a traditional system, they must, or feminism is unnecessary. So feminism discounts that in a traditional society women silence and shame. (That can, and typically is, used for the good-a civilizing force.) Feminism wields that power. And massive multi decade propaganda. So, no, feminism isn’t going anywhere. More likely feminism tells its opponents to be quiet and/or leave.
Leave where? Are there groups of competent feminists running around engaging in productive activity that I am unaware of, or are they all in academia, federal agencies, and HR departments? Because from where I sit, it looks like a lot of the places they inhabit are going to get wiped out.
The electorate is bifurcated along class lines at this point. Politics is recreational to the "eff the patriarchy! She-Ra is a documentary" crowd. It's not for people who either don't have jobs, or can't make ends meet. Do you really think this kind of self-censorship will work on them? I don't.
Will there always be narcissistic, delusional women running around? Yes. Will they forever enjoy this "rights for me, responsibilities for thee" environment they managed to create? I doubt it.

Feminism says that if modesty speaks to me that’s because I hypersexualized the world.
Feminism says that if you think the idea of any version of a sex strike is physically nauseating as well as the ultimate TMI, you’re the crazy one.
Feminism defines a woman as a human who requires the right to abortion.
Raising children is the opposite of “living your life.”
Raising children is also the opposite of expensive travel. As if everyone without a baby is constantly jet-setting to Paris.
Feminism says that the only reason people separate men and women is to demean women. There is no other legitimate purpose.

I grew up in a pretty far left environment but with a pretty normal family. I learned to absolutely despise far leftists, including feminists. As I watch Gen Z move into adulthood, all of them had similar experiences to mine. Their thinking will not go away, either. They're pissed.
Far leftism, including blank slate ideology, multiculturalism, feminism, and recreational political egalitarianism all rely on and exploit decency, but only from those who exhibit said decency. There's a reason the girlboss brigade isn't sassy-clapping to islamists or violent thugs to "do better". They know they are not decent people who will, in fact, pimp slap them while demanding a sandwich.
That kind of response is exactly what they are likely to get from young men going forward. The soft power that comes from hectoring otherwise decent men is evaporating. They won't have to grapple with it as you have because there was never any value in it for them, perceived or otherwise.

Something interesting is how concerned women are with power. Ironic, that men actually think of power dynamics less in relationships than women, who seem to frame everything through a lens of power. I hope you’re right. We may have taken a couple of small steps in the right direction. The hysteria of feminists at the outcome of the election is most certainly amusing: Shaving their own heads (as if they were Frenchwomen punished for collaboration with the Nazis), proposing a Lysistrata strategy (a little difficult when it comes to the spouses of White women), or murdering their husbands (a truly marvelous way of promoting antifeminism) do not combine into anything more than the loudest female whine I have ever heard.
Ultimately, I doubt Trump will do as much for American men as we want. It’s still a big deal that, despite the hectoring that you describe, more votes went to Trump rather than to Biden. It’s no large victory for antifeminism, but it is a check on the advance of feminism. That’s important.

Firstly, leftist have lower birth rates than the right, they're breeding themselves out of existence. How can you expect leftist to turn this all around when they're gone? And it's not just any right wing group that are breeding above replacement fertility, it's the far right who are breeding. Some right wing people are breeding themselves out, presumably, those who have joined the right from the left.
Secondly, leftist are leftist for a reason. You failed to acknowledge the genetic basis of their political inclination. Leftist wing people are high in genetic mutation, it's why they're more unattractive than those on the right. You'll never expect them to join the right because of their genetic differences. They're political activist because they're high in mental instability, neuroticism such as depression and anxiety. But some of the 'X factors' that might also be significant include the internet and social media which are rapidly usurping the legacy media, and exposing leftists to information which challenges their world view (a world view given to them by the dying legacy media).
Also leftism has always been very abstract. Leftists even told us that we needed to attend their special training and buy all their books so we could learn to 'see' patriarchal oppression and systemic racism - things they admitted were vague and tenuous. Rich men, as a rule, have little interest in men's issues - being largely insulated from so many of them - and of course Erin Pizzey reported that the well-off men who bankrolled the women's and children's shelters in London in the 1970s refused to give a penny towards the establishment of men's shelters. So we shouldn't expect rich men to suddenly start caring about less well-off disadvantaged men.

Another piece of perfection Janice. I have been thinking exactly the same as you, especially the fact that feminism has had 100 years or more to inculcate itself into every aspect of society. The only achievement so far is the fact it is being discussed by some that maybe men were a factor in the election result. It may be a slight slowing of feminist momentum but not a change in direction. The feminist ideology will temporarily retreat and will return with a different tactic to protect it’s entrenched power dynamic. I do however find small ray of hope in young men and boys who seem to be increasingly awake to the dangers of the feminist ideology. I encourage them every chance I get. It's funny when they vow to not have sex with men, and all the comments from men question who would ever want to have sex with them, they're glad that women will no longer act like sluts, and it will reduce abortions.
Of course it's all performative on the part of the women, as you note: no one is losing any "rights" (they mean the right to abortion) and they either were not having sex due to being unattractive and crazy and misandric, or don't intend to stop, despite their vows (men beware!) These women are just acting up for the camera. It's ridiculous and hilarious.
Some are so over the top that it's clear they are suffering from severe mental illness that's now channeled into feminist activism online. I have known many Leftist activists and if you did a Venn diagram you'd see a sizeable crossover of these people with conditions such as bipolar and schizophrenia, many of whom have been committed in the past.
It is to a great extent the ideology of hate they subscribe to that warps their minds and souls -- it even affects their bodies: you can see before and after photos in which attractive young women, well-dressed and with promising futures, transform into sad creatures with shaved heads or purple hair, too many piercings and tattoos, often overweight, poorly dressed, and very obviously mentally disturbed.
As for the election response videos, perhaps they are ignorant of what Trump did before in office or the limits of his office; the videos all reflect an irrational fear that Trump is a dictator on par with Hitler or Stalin. They imagine some sort of dystopian scenario like the Handmaids Tale perhaps. It's truly laughable. The legacy media has done its part to stoke this mass hysteria, quite irresponsibly.
As a student of human nature, what I find interesting about all this is how Trump is a symbol for so many people on both sides of the political spectrum: for conservatives he promises a renewal of patriotism and freedom and prosperity, the American Dream, the promise of the American liberties, everything the flag stands for. He will (we hope) build the wall, deport illegals, boost the economy, create jobs, get rid of government waste, get rid of woke ideology, etc. In reality, it will be an uphill battle for him, and the Left will fight him tooth and nail and demonize him, as they did last time. I hope he can succeed but also know he is up against massive obstacles. The Left has huge institutional support and will do all it can to fight him; indeed they have gone so far as to try to assassinate him -- and no doubt will try again.
At the same time, for the Left -- and feminists -- Trump is a symbol of all that is evil and wrong. They project all this onto him, demonizing and scapegoating him. Leftism is a religion and scapegoating (e.g., calling perceived enemies "racist" or "misogynist") is its core ritual. They project onto him what they want to see, that affirms their worldview and their man-hating narrative, even if Trump is not actually a racist or misogynist, and even if he is not anti-abortion or truly pro-life. The truth doesn't matter; what matter is the perception, the use of him as a symbol for all they hate.
The demand for racism and sexism, it is often said, exceeds the supply, so they make it up through a kind of collective hysteria, branding the target as wholly evil and in need of destruction. This is what fueled the MeToo movement and what now fuels the feminist hysteria over Trump. These women were already misandrists; this is just a new way to channel that hatred of men. And by doing it on social media, they pull in a new generation of young impressionable women who will now destroy their bodies, souls, and minds, in services to this perverse ideology.
They will harm not only themselves and break their parents' hearts, but they will also kill their own children as well, like a kind of ritual sacrifice to some ancient idolatrous deity. Abortion should be regarded as human rights violation. It reminds me of the line from the movie Uforgiven: "“It’s a hell of a thing, killing a man. You take away all he’s got and all he’s ever gonna have.” Replace the word man with unborn baby, and that's abortion.

Disappointing that he declined to defend for boys the same protections that girls enjoy throughout the Western world and even in 23 African countries.
